Dear Friends and Colleagues,<\/p>

The 41st<\/sup> International Winter-Workshop on Clinical, Chemical, and Biochemical Aspects of Pteridines and Related Topics will take place in Innsbruck, Austria, from February 5th<\/sup> to 7th<\/sup>, 2025<\/b>.<\/p>

The Innsbruck Pteridine Winter Workshop is a scientific event with a long tradition of bringing together experts and trainees interested in various aspects of pteridines and related areas such as immunobiochemistry. A mixture of basic, clinical, and applied scientific themes brings together different disciplines. A core interest is the discussion of biomarkers with diagnostic potential. For reasons of tradition, but still topical, neopterin and its immunobiochemistry remain a focus. Other molecules and topics of interest include biopterin, folate, other pteridines, tryptophan and phenylalanine metabolism, related biogenic amines, iron, homocysteine, nitric oxide biochemistry, metabolic disorders, the microbiome, nutrition, mediators of inflammation, analysis, laboratory diagnosis, phytomedicine, redox systems, (clinical) immunology, (bio)chemistry, and biology.<\/p>

Please register\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0(deadline December 31st<\/sup>, 2024).<\/p>

For the first time, there is the option to indicate the preferred presentation format (oral communication or poster). The decision on abstract acceptance will be made by January 15th<\/sup>, 2025.<\/p>

About Innsbruck, Austria<\/b><\/h3>

Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, is a historic city located in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Known for its winter sports facilities and vibrant cultural scene, it offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and easy access to alpine skiing and hiking. The city is famous for its medieval architecture, such as the Golden Roof, and the nearby Imperial Palace, both of which reflect Innsbruck\u2019s rich history.<\/p>

In January, Innsbruck experiences cold temperatures, with daytime averages ranging from –2\u00b0C to 5\u00b0C (28\u00b0F to 41\u00b0F)<\/b>, making it an ideal destination for winter enthusiasts. Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the city’s world-class ski resorts, as well as its historic old town and vibrant cultural attractions.<\/p>
